Can it already almost be February!!

We have been hibernating in our house for the past couple days. It is just too cold outside to venture out. You freeze within minutes! I think Jack and I are both getting a little stir crazy! We need some warm weather to go out and play!!

We have had some busy weekends lately - the wedding fair - which was exhausting but fun - met with lots of people and had our booth up and running. Then Fairmont. Then Dave was off to Toronto as someone had rented our booth and so he flew out there for 2 days to deal with that and set it up. Now we are off to LA this weekend. I can't wait! It started out that we wanted to go to a photobooth association meeting which is much needed for us to get some education on our booth but we are also going to get tickets for Wicked. I can't wait! I have been dying to see this musical. Jack and I listen to the musical on my ipod everyday at lunch and sometimes dinner too! I entertain jack with dance moves while he eats lunch! I am sure he loves it!!! Since its always playing dave knows the music too- so we can't wait!! It will be a fast busy weekend there but hopefully we can fit in some shopping, etc. I CAN ALWAYS FIT IN SHOPPING! TARGET!!!

Speaking of travelling - we just booked our flights for Hawaii in May. We are taking Jack. I can't wait to play at the beach with jack. We are going with another couple and their boy who is close to jack's age. I'll fill you in on more details as we make them. We are trying to find a beach house to rent. How fun is that!

Below are some pics from our skating day with friends and then last weekend in Fairmont with our friends, Kristine, Dave and Abby. Dave went skiing at Panorama while Kristine and I hung out with the kids and went for a short hike up to the Fairmont Hot Springs and we also went swimming. Lots of fun!

And The Big Boy Turns ONE!

Man I can't beleive we survived last week! Jack, the poor guy, came down with some stomach virus on his birthday and decided to give me a present instead, vomit all over me and my couch! He was sick all last week and then of course, mommy caught it Wed. right before I had to go to work, I was sick all night and then got a head cold - not the funnest week. Luckily, we had Dave to take care of us.

But on a happy note, we had Jack's b-day before he got sick, on Sat. Dec 1, 2007. It was lots of fun. And so many people came to celebrate. Lots of Jack's friends came to play with him. We need a bigger house, because we were jammed in there - but it was lots of fun! The best was Jack's cake - Dave and I spent all night the night before the party - trying to create the perfect cake. I think it turned out great. We had lunch with all his friends, opened presents, played with the toys and had some cake.

Glady, we are all better this week, we have so much to do. My work Christmas party is Thurs. night, we also are in charge of the Ward Christmas party on Friday night and then we are having a Christmas party at our house Sat. BUSY! Plus Jack's got his shots and one year dr.s appt. Plus, I need to finish my Christmas shopping, I can't beleive I am not done yet! I am really having trouble finding great gifts!

Almost One!!!!

Well only one more week and our little boy turns 1, I can't beleive it - he's not my little baby anymore. When he drinks his bottle, he takes it and drinks it himself and I say, "mommy will hold it for you" and he just yanks it out of my hands. He wants to hold it himself, no more help from me. So sad! But he is so fun! He is so funny. If I laugh, he laughs and then we just laugh back and forth - he thinks its hilarious.

Now that I am back at work a couple days a week, he is having so much fun with his grandparents. They spend all day just playing with him. And he loves it. When dave and I get home from work, he isn't even interested...he just wants to keep playing.

The past couple of weeks his one front tooth has been coming in, and he has been sick with a runny nose, cough and congestion so he had a few weeks where he was up every couple hours, which just reminds me how much i am not ready to have a tiny baby again and be up all night!!!! Finally he is sleeping through the night again. It feels good to sleep and be refreshed in the morning.....okay enough of me talking about how I love sleep but really - its finally nice to sleep through the night.

So this week we are just going to get things ready for jack's birthday party. We are just having a few people over for lunch and cake and saturday.

We also have a Bridal Vendor party this week. Where all the vendors with respect to weddings will be there - so we'll have our business cards ready and try to get the word out there about our photobooth business. Our first official marketing event!

Just a few random pics of Jack over the past few weeks.

The one picture of him lying down is hilarious. Lately, at night, when he is getting tired. I'll say "Jack its time for bed" and he'll head up the stairs to his bedroom and get his blanket (although sometimes on the way to the stairs he gets distracted by the toys and just ends up playing). He has also been taking his blanket and putting it on the ground, then he'll lie down with it and snuggle. Its hilarious. He is in love with his blanket. In the morning when I go in to get him and bring him out - he won't come out of his crib until he has ahold of his blanket. Too cute! May not be cute when he is 20 and still wants it. ha ha.

I was trying to get a picture of jack sitting on the chair but he would have nothing to do with sitting on the chair - he kept crawling off of it. So this is the only pic, I could get with him looking at the camera. So funny what we do to get pictures!

More Halloween Pics

I just thought I'd post some more halloween pics I came across. These are pics of jack trick or treating in our neighborhood and the stash he brought home for mom and dad to eat! What a good boy!

Well Halloween is coming to a close! Jack had fun dressed up as a Penguin. We went to the mall this afternoon and he got to see all the kids dressed up getting candy. He wasn't quite sure what was going on. Later, Dave took him trick-or-treating to a few houses in our neighborhood - he got some good candy for his parents! Then Jack helped me hand out candy. We didn't have too many trick or treater's but he had fun! Anyway enjoy the pics!

Fall is Here!

I snapped a few picks of Jack yesterday morning before we headed out for a walk. He loves playing with the crunchy fall leaves and loves watching the leaves fall from the trees. He is just getting over a cold that he had. His nose was running all the time and he would just wipe it all over his face - poor guy. But he is on the mend. He also has his 3rd tooth now. He has the two front bottom teeth and now one on the top. I didn't even notice a third was there until he started biting my finger and I felt it. Enjoy the pics and enjoy fall.
